Premier Health Partners is seeking a motivated Certified Medical Assistant for the Beavercreek Family Physicians. This full-time role involves seeing upwards of 30 patients daily and performing various clinical tasks under supervision.

Successful candidates will possess a high school diploma, and certification from a recognized Medical Assistant program, with experience in an ambulatory health care facility preferred. Knowledge of ICD‑10, CPR certification, and familiarity with EPIC EMR are strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent certificate.
• Certified Medical Assistant who has graduated from a recognized Medical Assistant program.
• Prior experience in an ambulatory health care facility preferred.

Responsabilités

Summary of Position

A Certified Medical Assistant for the Premier Physician Network will typically see upwards of 30 patients per day and is responsible for general clinical and procedural patient care under the supervision of the Practice Manager and/or center Physicians/Providers.

Job Details

Location: Beavercreek Family Physicians.

Type: Full Time / Days / 80 hours per pay period.

Nature and Scope

Independently performed procedures may include, but are not limited to, rooming patients and collecting vitals, pulmonary function tests, administration of injections, EKGs, breathing treatments, lab testing, dressing changes, wound cleaning, hearing and vision tests, and other duties as assigned. Attention to detail and excellent documentation skills are an ongoing expectation.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent certificate
• Certified Medical Assistant who has graduated from a recognized Medical Assistant program
• Prior experience in an ambulatory health care facility preferred
• Ability to learn related center tasks and assist management and physicians
• Self‑motivated to achieve the highest patient care and customer service standards
• CPR certified within the first 3 months of employment
• Knowledge of ICD‑10 and CPT coding
• Familiarity with the EPIC EMR strongly preferred
• Thorough understanding of HIPAA law
