Job summary

Associated Specialists of Internal Medicine is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support the Premier Physician Network. The CMA will see upwards of 30 patients per day, delivering general clinical and procedural care under supervision of the Practice Manager and center physicians/providers.

Responsibilities include rooming patients, taking vitals, injections, EKGs, lab tests, and wound care, with strong documentation and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Medical Assistant, graduate from a recognized program.
• Ambulatory care experience preferred.
• Ability to learn center tasks and assist management and physicians.
• Self-motivated to achieve high patient care and service standards.
• CPR certification within first 3 months of employment.
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding.
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR strongly preferred.
• Basic HIPAA compliance understanding.
