Job summary

UNC Health Blue Ridge seeks a Medical Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Paramedic to join the team. You will assist in examinations, handle administrative tasks, and support patient scheduling and documentation. Eligible for a $5,000 sign-on bonus, with competitive benefits and tuition assistance.

Must have accredited program completion and appropriate certifications within 90 days. The role is full-time, 1st shift, Monday–Friday, Morganton, NC.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Medical Office Assistant Program or CMA/CCMA/RMA; EMT-Paramedic/EMT-Intermediate credentials also accepted.
• All certificates needed within 90 days of hire.
• ABR-OE designation required for current employees or obtainable within 90 days.

THE POSITION

We are looking for an outstanding Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse or Paramedic to join our team! As a Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse or Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our patients. You will assist in the examination and treatment of patients, perform administrative and clerical duties, and help maintain a safe and clean environment. You will also assist with patient scheduling, patient documentation, and patient interaction. If you are a compassionate, organized, and detail-oriented professional with a passion for helping others, we would love to hear from you! Completion of an accredited Medical Office Assistant Program, Clinical Medical Assistant Program, Registered Medical Assistant or Emergency Medical Technician Program, current certification as a CMA, CCMA, RMA, EMT-Intermediate, or EMT-Paramedic.Current employees without the above credentials are able and required to hold an ABR-OE designation. All certificates are required within the first 90 days.
