Job summary

US Digestive Health is seeking a Scheduler to play a pivotal role in preventing GI cancer by coordinating Open Access appointments and medical intake screenings. The role involves scheduling new and established patients based on assessments under the supervision of the Open Access Supervisor.

You will collect insurance details, review demographics, discuss preparation information with patients, and ensure timely scheduling of procedures or office visits, contributing to patient care and service

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• MA certification required.
• Medical office experience preferred.
• Experience with EMR systems is a plus.
• Bilingual ability is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Open Access medical assessments with patients.
• Review online assessments completed by patients and assist in scheduling.
• Collect insurance information, review demographics, and schedule procedures or office visits.
