Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Check schedules and organize patient flow.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and observe/report patient observations to providers.
• Assist patients with walking, transfers, dressing, collecting specimens.
• Collect patient history including medications/allergies/symptoms; document in EMR.
• Provide patient care as directed; assist with screenings and procedures.
• Assist providers with various procedures as needed.
• Document interventions and lab data; relay instructions to patient/family.
• Answer patient calls and messages; liaison between patient and provider.
• Handle clerical duties: medical records, appointment scheduling.
• Collect and handle lab specimens; adhere to infection control guidelines.
