Endeavor Health’s Elmhurst clinic is seeking a Medical Assistant to support a busy OBGYN practice. You will prepare patients for exams, draw specimens, perform routine tests, and assist with clerical tasks under supervision.

The role requires a high school diploma, CMA/RMA/CCMA certification or equivalent experience, and a current CPR/BLS certification. The position offers full-time hours and a $1000 sign-on bonus, with travel between office locations as needed and benefits including tuition

• Current CPR BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, performs select clinical functions to support patient care. Includes preparing patients, obtaining specimens, conducting routine labs, recording results, and may perform phlebotomy. Administers selected medications/injections under physician supervision; handles clerical clinic duties.

Hourly Pay Range:

$19.89 - $28.84 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Sign on bonus: $1000

• Position: Medical Assistant

• Location: 1200 S York Rd, Elmhurst

• Full Time 36 hours per week

• Hours: Monday - Thursday 7:30 AM - 8:00 PM (includes working 1-2 evenings/week). Friday 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM. Saturday 7:30 AM - 12:30 PM (this includes working 1- 2 Saturdays/month)

• Required Travel: Yes ( Addison, Elmhurst, Hinsdale, Lombard)

• This role includes some travel to other locations and requires flexible hours to meet operational needs

What you will do:

• Under the direction of the Supervisor, performs select clinical functions to enhance delivery of patient care. Prepare patients for physical examination, obtain specimens, conduct select routine laboratory tests and records results, routine diagnostic tests and may perform phlebotomy. Under general supervision of a physician, administer selected medications/injections. Also performs clerical duties related to clinic operations. MA supports a very busy OBGYN office with multiple providers and additional clinical staff.

What you will need:

• High school diploma or GED - REQUIRED

• Certified, Registered, and Clinical Certified Medical Assistants (CMA, RMA or CCMA) are required to provide current certification or registration through American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA), National Health career Association (NHA) or any other certifying agency and should have at least 6 months of clinical experience. - PREFERRED

• Candidates who are not certified or registered should have at least one year of clinical experience. - PREFERRED

• Current CPR BLS Certification issued by American Heart Association - REQUIRED
