Responsibilities

• Perform basic nursing skills under the supervision of physicians and nursing staff.
• Greet and escort patients, obtain initial information and vital signs.
• Prepare exam rooms and assist with exams, tests, and procedures.
• Schedule appointments and manage referrals.
• Educate patients on follow-up care.
• Maintain quality control logs and ensure equipment functionality.
• Assist with administrative tasks including answering phones, data entry, and cash deposits.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a Medical Assistant Program or 1 year of clinical experience.
• Obtain Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Completion of healthcare coursework.
• One year of healthcare experience.

Physical and Work Environment

• Medium work exerting up to 50 pounds, with ability to bend, reach, and stand for long shifts.
• Work involves close contact with others, biohazards, infectious diseases, and may require travel between facilities.
