Job summary

Txhealthcare in Fort Worth is seeking a qualified Medical Assistant to perform clinical duties including taking x-rays, assisting with procedures, preparing rooms, performing refills and pre-certifications, scheduling appointments, drawing labs, and maintaining inventory.

The role requires a Medical Assistant diploma or certification and NCT certification; NextGen EHR experience is preferred. Spanish language ability is a plus. Full-time position with occasional travel to Willow Park.

Qualifications

• Experience with NextGen EHR is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Take x-rays and assist with procedures.
• Clean and stock examination rooms and prep supplies.
• Handle refills, medication pre-certifications, and scheduling.
• Perform lab draws and EHR charting.
• Order supplies and monitor inventory.
• Answer phone calls and perform various clinical duties as needed.

Qualified candidates must be able to perform various duties, which may include: x-rays, assisting with procedures, cleaning and stocking rooms, refills, medication pre-certs, scheduling appointments, lab draw, EHR charting, supply ordering/inventory, phone calls and various clinical duties as needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Applicants must have a Medical Assistant diploma, certification, or graduate transcript and NCT certification. NextGen EHR is A+. Spanish speaking is not required but would be preferred.

Full time: 40hrs, Monday -Friday, ability and flexibility to commute to the Fort Worth with the occasional travel to our Willow Park office on an as‑needed basis.
