Job summary

Texas Health Care PLCC is hiring a Medical Assistant to support clinical operations in Willow Park, TX. The role includes x-ray assistance, injections, blood draws for PRP, room prep, and filing in the EHR.

Qualified candidates will hold a Medical Assistant diploma/certification and NCT certification, with at least one year of surgical experience. Spanish language is not required, but preferred.

Qualifications

• Applicants must have a Medical Assistant diploma, certification, or graduate transcript and NCT certification with at minimum one year of recent surgical practice experience.
• NextGen EHR (electronic health record) experience is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform x-rays and assist with procedures and injections.
• Conduct blood draws for PRP procedures.
• Clean and stock exam rooms; manage supply orders and medication refills.
• Handle pre-certifications and scheduling of procedures; send orders for labs and radiology.
• Document in EHR and perform varied clinical duties as needed.
