Job summary

Duly Health and Care in Naperville, IL is seeking a Medical Assistant to join the Pulmonary Medicine team. You will greet patients, assist with registration and scheduling, measure vital signs, collect health history, and support physicians during examinations and minor procedures.

The role includes immunizations, injections, processing prescription requests, coordinating charting, and performing onsite labs such as EKG, pulmonary function tests, glucose, and urine pregnancy tests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Medical Assistant educational program or higher education courses in health sciences or related experience required.
• Active medical assistant certification through one of AMT, NCCT, NHA, ARMA, AAMA.
• CPR certification or willing to become certified upon hire.
• Phlebotomy certification within 90 days of hire may be required.
• Prior MA/CMA/CNA/EMT or 2 years in a medical office assisting with patient care.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and assist with registration, scheduling, measuring vital signs and collecting health history.
• Provide support to physicians during examinations, minor office surgeries, dressing changes and other first aid procedures.
• Assist with immunizations or injections as needed.
• Process prescription requests and address pharmacy callbacks and orders.
• Conduct onsite lab testing to include EKG, pulmonary function, blood glucose and urine pregnancy tests.
• Maintain clean, welcoming examination rooms and deliver excellent customer service.

Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives.
