Job summary

Duly Health and Care in Naperville, IL seeks a Medical Assistant for Pulmonary Medicine. The role is full-time, 40 hours weekly, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm at the Spalding office with occasional travel to other sites for coverage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Medical Assistant educational program or higher education courses in health sciences or related experience required.
• Active MA certification through one of AMT/NCCT/NHA/ARMA/AAMA is required or to be obtained on hire.
• CPR certification or willingness to become certified upon hire.
• Phlebotomy certification may be required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and assist with registration, scheduling, measuring vital signs and collecting health history.
• Provide support to physicians during examinations, minor office procedures, dressings, and other first aid tasks.
• Assist patients with prescription requests and pharmacy callbacks; update charting.
• Conduct onsite labs including EKG, pulmonary function tests, blood glucose and urine pregnancy tests.
• Maintain clean, welcoming examination rooms and provide excellent customer service.

Education

Medical Assistant certificate or higher education in health sciences

CPR certification

Medical Assistant certification (AMT, NCCT, NHA, ARMA, AAMA)

Phlebotomy certification (within 90 days)

Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives.
