Job summary

Marshall Medical Center seeks a dedicated Medical Assistant to support clinicians across Marshall Medical Clinics. You will prepare patients for visits, assist with examinations, handle medication refills, lab follow ups, referrals, and callbacks, and help with supplies and sterilization.

You may float to other clinics as needed to support the system-wide goals and maintain high-quality patient care. BLS and MA certification are required or sought, with program completion preferred.

Qualifications

Completion of a Medical Assistant Program or previous Medical Assistant experience preferred.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
To qualify for Medical Assistant 2: Current Medical Assistant (MA) certification from the CCMA or AAMA or approved body required.

Responsibilities

Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers as needed.
Complete medication refills and follow up on lab results and referrals.
Make patient callbacks and order medical supplies as needed.
Maintain clean/sterile exam rooms and equipment.
Float to other Marshall Medical Clinics as needed and support overall goals.
