Job summary

Marshall Medical Center's MMF Float Pool seeks a Medical Assistant to support providers across Marshall Medical Clinics. You will prepare patients for exams, assist clinicians, manage refills, follow up on lab results, and coordinate referrals while maintaining a compassionate, efficient patient flow.

Primary days, regular per diem hours, and the ability to float between clinics are required. Candidates should have completed a Medical Assistant program, hold BLS, and possess current MA

Qualifications

• Completion of a Medical Assistant Program or MA experience preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• CCMA or AAMA certification or approved certifying body required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination/visit and assist providers as needed.
• Complete medication refills and lab result follow ups.
• Schedule referrals to specialists and process callbacks.
• Order medical supplies and clean/sterilize equipment and exam rooms.
• Float to other Marshall Medical Clinics as needed and support overall goals.
