Marshall Medical Center is seeking a Medical Assistant for its TCW Walk-In - EDH department in California. The role involves preparing patients for exams, assisting providers, processing refills, coordinating referrals, and following up on lab results with a focus on timely, dignified patient care.

Staff may float to other clinics as needed to support clinic goals. Ideal candidates have MA program completion, BLS, and MA certification (CCMA/AAMA) or an approved certifying body, with strong EMR

Qualifications

• Completion of a Medical Assistant Program or previous Medical Assistant experience preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Current MA certification (CCMA or AAMA) required or approved certifying body.

Responsabilités

• Prepare patients for examination and assist providers as needed.
• Complete medication refills and follow-ups; manage referrals and lab results.
• Handle patient callbacks and order medical supplies as required.
• Clean/sterilize exam rooms and equipment; maintain supply inventory.
• Float to other Marshall Medical Clinics as needed to support operations.
