Job Summary:
Under the supervision of the acting physician, our Medical Assistants work in conjunction with staff and physicians to support the delivery of patient care second to none! The Medical Assistant will take vital signs, assist the provider with our interview and care processes, treatments, delivery and transport of each patient, as directed by the physician. The Medical Assistant thrives in a fast-paced, team oriented environment with professionals in neurology, pain management, chiropractic, podiatry and many more. This position is cross-trained in all clinical administrative processes, therefore the MA will also answer phones, obtain prior insurance authorizations, perform patient reminder calls, and enter information into the EMR. The Medical Assistant is required to maintain patient and hospital confidentiality at all times.
