Job Description

ENT and Allergy Associates (ENTA), one of the nation’s largest ENT, Allergy, and Audiology practices, is seeking a Full‑Time Medical Assistant for our Morristown office.

Hourly: $23/hr

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients in person or by phone; respond to or route inquiries appropriately.
• Prepare patients for appointments by directing or accompanying them to exam rooms.
• Verify and record patient information, including medical history and reason for visit.
• Assist providers during examinations and procedures.
• Prepare laboratory specimens and perform basic in‑office lab testing.
• Maintain sterile instruments and properly dispose of contaminated supplies.
• Educate patients on medications and provide instructions as directed.
• Accurately document examinations, treatments, and test results.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies and ensure equipment is functioning properly.
• Uphold patient confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred.
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred.
• Strong patient service skills with a commitment to delivering a positive patient experience.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program or certification such as CMA or RMA.
• Alternatively, candidates with any of the following qualifications will be considered:
• Bachelor’s degree in Biology
• Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification
• Five (5) years of continuous experience working as a Medical Assistant

Schedule

• Monday: 9:30am-6:00pm
• Tuesday: 8:00am-4:30pm
• Wednesday: 9:00am-5:30pm
• Thursday: 9:30am-6:00pm
• Friday: 8:30am-5:00pm
• Saturday (1-2 per month): 8:00 - 12:00PM (schedule will change based on the Physician's schedule).
