ENT and Allergy Associates (ENTA) is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant for our Bronx office. The role supports clinical staff, greets patients, prepares exam rooms, and assists with procedures.

Responsibilities include patient intake, documentation, specimen handling, and HIPAA compliance; bilingual Spanish is required. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a schedule that includes weekdays with occasional Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Medical Assistant program or CMA/RMA certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in Biology is acceptable for consideration.
• EMT certification is an alternative qualification.
• Five years of continuous Medical Assistant experience may be considered.

Job Description: ENT and Allergy Associates (ENTA), one of the nation’s largest ENT, Allergy, and Audiology practices, is seeking a Full-Time Medical Assistant for our Bronx office. Hourly: $23/hr

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients in person or by phone;
• Respond to or route inquiries appropriately
• Prepare patients for appointments by directing or accompanying them to exam rooms
• Verify and record patient information, including medical history and reason for visit
• Assist providers during examinations and procedures
• Prepare laboratory specimens and perform basic in‑office lab testing
• Maintain sterile instruments and properly dispose of contaminated supplies
• Educate patients on medications and provide instructions as directed
• Accurately document examinations, treatments, and test results
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies and ensure equipment is functioning properly
• Uphold patient confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations

Job Requirements & Qualifications

• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment
• Bilingual Spanish required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous Medical Assistant experience preferredExperience with Epic EMR preferred
• Strong patient service skills with a commitment to delivering a positive patient experience

Completion of a Medical Assistant program or certification such as CMA or RMA. Alternatively, candidates with any of the following qualifications will be considered:

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology
• Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification
• Five (5) years of continuous experience working as a Medical Assistant

Schedule

• Monday: 8:30am-5:00pm
• Tuesday: 8:30am-5:00pm
• Wednesday: 8:30am-6:30pm
• Thursday: 9:00am=5:00pm
• Friday: 9:00am-4:30pm
• Saturday (1-2 per month): 8:00 - 12:00PM
