Valle del Sol is seeking a Medical Assistant I, II, or III to support providers across family practice, pediatrics, and behavioral health in a community clinic in Mesa, AZ.

Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program or MA certification.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to complete credentialing and privileging requirements.
- Ability to provide culturally sensitive care.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for appointments and procedures.
- Obtain vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints.
- Assist providers during exams and treatments.
- Administer immunizations and collect specimens.
- Document patient care accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Support patient education, discharge planning, and follow‑up care.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized exam rooms.
- Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary care teams.
- Support quality improvement initiatives and patient‑centered care.

- Medical Assistant I: Entry‑level to 1 year of experience
- Medical Assistant II: 1‑3 years of experience
- Medical Assistant III: 3+ years of experience
Employees who obtain certification (CCMA, CMA, RMA, etc.) are eligible for additional hourly pay incentives.
$20.00 - $26.00 per hour
- Up to an additional $2.00/hour for certified MAs
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or GED
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program or current MA certification
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to complete credentialing and privileging requirements
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced clinical environment
- Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) preferred
- Ability to provide culturally sensitive care
- Must obtain or possess a valid Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Bilingual Spanish‑speaking candidates encouraged to apply
- Experience in primary care, pediatrics, or behavioral health settings
- Experience working in community health or integrated care environments
