ProMedica Central Physicians in Toledo, OH, is seeking a Medical Assistant to support a patient-centered care model. In the office, you will collect vitals, document visit reasons, and assist providers and nurses to ensure a safe patient experience from check-in to discharge.

You will communicate with patients and the health care team, answer phone calls, relay messages, and apply clinical knowledge across the clinic setting.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• BLS (CPR), must present a current BLS card or obtain certification within 90 days of hire.
• Previous experience in medical office preferred.
• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant.

In the office setting, the Medical Assistant communicates with patients and co-workers and collaborates with leadership to recommend changes to improve patient care.This person in this position provides a safe patient experience from the moment they walk into a ProMedica facility. From fathering data from the patient to documenting the reasons for the visit and obtaining vitals, the medial assistant strives for clinical excellence.Communication is key in this role. You will communicate with patients, peers and all members of the health care team.
