Job summary

ProMedica Physician Group, Inc. is seeking a Medical Assistant to support our patient-centered care delivery in the office setting.

In this role, you will communicate with patients and coworkers, document reasons for visits, obtain vitals, and help ensure a safe patient experience from entry to exit. Your responsibilities include assisting with data collection, answering calls, relaying messages to providers, and supporting the health care team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS CPR certification required or obtain within 90 days.
• Certified or registered medical assistant preferred.
• Experience in medical office preferred.

In the office setting, the Medical Assistant communicates with patients and co-workers and collaborates with leadership to recommend changes to improve patient care.This person in this position provides a safe patient experience from the moment they walk into a ProMedica facility. From fathering data from the patient to documenting the reasons for the visit and obtaining vitals, the medial assistant strives for clinical excellence.Communication is key in this role. You will communicate with patients, peers and all members of the health care team.
