ProMedica Flower Hospital in Ohio is seeking a Medical Assistant to join the Obstetrics Gynecology team. In a patient-centered office setting, you will take vitals, document visit reasons, and relay messages for providers and nurses, contributing to a safe patient experience from entry to exit.

You will communicate with patients and co-workers, support with clinical tasks, and ensure quality care while continuously learning in a collaborative environment.

Formación

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• BLS (CPR), must present a current BLS course card from the AHA at time of employment or obtain certification within 90 days of hire.
• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with patient intake, document visit reasons, and obtain vitals.
• Communicate with patients and healthcare teams to relay messages.
• Support clinicians in the office and handle instruments and supplies.
• Maintain patient safety and confidentiality.

In the office setting, the Medical Assistant communicates with patients and co-workers and collaborates with leadership to recommend changes to improve patient care.This person in this position provides a safe patient experience from the moment they walk into a ProMedica facility. From fathering data from the patient to documenting the reasons for the visit and obtaining vitals, the medial assistant strives for clinical excellence.Communication is key in this role. You will communicate with patients, peers and all members of the health care team.
