Job summary

Ardent Health Services in Albuquerque, NM is hiring a day shift, full-time Maternal Fetal Medicine Medical Assistant (MA). This role supports our care team in a clinic setting, assisting physicians and other providers with routine clinical tasks and essential administrative duties.

The Medical Assistant Non-Certified provides superior patient care and performs administrative and delegated clinical tasks that support patients in a clinic-based environment as part of a care team led by the physician and/or advanced practice provider.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Basic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Microsoft Office knowledge.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements

• Associate’s degree.
• Graduated from an accredited medical assistant/medical technologist school/program.
• Prior experience in a clinic or hospital setting supporting patient care
• Current national certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).
