Lifepoint Health is seeking an in-person Medical Assistant Float in Galax, VA. This full-time role supports clinics by performing patient assessments under supervision, doing basic diagnostic tasks, and handling administrative duties to keep patient flow smooth.
The position emphasizes accuracy, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and maintaining clean, well-stocked examination areas. BLS and CMA/CCMA/RMA certifications are required within set timelines.
Schedule: Full-time 40 hrs. per week | Monday through Friday, an occasional Sat & Sun 8am -2pm

Hourly range: $18.53 - $22.88 p/hr.

The Medical Assistant Float will perform routine clinical and administrative duties in support of the assigned area or office. Under the supervision of a physician or nurse, assists with performing patient assessments and treatments.
