This role involves providing basic clinical and clerical support within the scope of practice for Medical Assistants. The position offers ongoing training to enhance your skills in all aspects of the Medical Assistant role.

Qualifications

• Diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program, or active CT CNA, EMT, Paramedic, or Medic Certification, or relevant experience.
• Certified BLS Provider credential from the American Heart Association, obtained within 3 months of hire.
• All credentials must be maintained throughout employment.

Experience

• At least one year of direct patient care experience may substitute for educational requirements.
• Relevant experience or externship in a busy medical office is preferred.
• EPIC EMR experience is a plus.
