Endeavor Health in Evanston, IL is seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) for full-time roles. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 7am to 6pm, with occasional travel to other sites based on department needs. The role includes front desk support and clinical duties such as vitals, injections, and phlebotomy.

Eligible candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, CPR certification, and 1 year of medical office experience preferred. Training is provided for those new to the field.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR certification through American Heart Association required; Medical Assistant Certification preferred but not required.
• One year of work experience in a medical office or related field preferred; on-the-job training provided if none.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients and escort them to exam rooms.
• Document vital signs, allergies, medications and reason for visit.
• Provide front office support as needed.
• Perform basic vitals such as BP, height, and weight; assist with phlebotomy and injections as needed.

Hourly Pay Range:

$20.29 - $29.42 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Position: Medical Assistant
• Location: Evanston, IL
• Full Time/Part Time: Full Time
• Hours: Monday-Friday, 7am - 6pm

What you will do:

• Greet patients and escort them to exam room
• Document vital signs, allergies, medications and reason for office visit
• Provide front office support as needed
• Perform basic vitals like BP, height and weight
• Phlebotomy and injections may be required

What you will need:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent work experience is required. Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program is preferred, but not required
• Certification: CPR certification through the American Heart Association required; Medical Assistant Certification (AMT or AAMA) is preferred, but not required.
• Experience: One year of work experience required, previous experience working in a medical office (or related field) is preferred. On the job training is provided for those who do not have previous medical assistant training or experience.
• Unique or Preferred Skills: N/A
