Job summary

CAREonsite, a division of Tang & Company, seeks a Medical Assistant (MA) to support occupational health services nationwide. The role blends clinical duties with administrative tasks, including assisting providers, preparing specimens, and maintaining patient charts.

Ideal candidates will complete an accredited MA program, hold MA certification, and maintain current BCLS (CPR/AED). Strong communication and organization are essential for success in a fast-paced setting that safeguards HIPAA

Responsibilities

• Conduct basic patient intake and vitals.
• Assist providers during examinations and procedures.
• administer medications/injections as trained and allowed.
• Perform basic lab tests and prepare specimens.
• Ensure exam rooms are stocked and ready for patient care.
• Handle front and back-office administrative duties such as scheduling and chart maintenance.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient privacy.

CAREonsite, a division of Tang & Company, provides occupational medical services nationwide. We are looking for a highly motivated Medical Assistant (MA) with strong clinical, computer, and multi-tasking skills to join our team.

As a CAREonsite Medical Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting occupational health services, assisting medical providers, and ensuring the highest quality of patient care. This position offers a blend of clinical and administrative responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule & Pay:

• Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:00pm
• Pay Range: $28 - $33 / hour

What You’ll Do:

• Conduct physical exams, including vision, hearing, vitals, respiratory fit testing, and drug/alcohol testing.
• Perform basic lab tests and prepare specimens.
• Administer medications and injections, perform blood draws, apply splints and dressings.
• Ensure exam rooms are stocked and ready for patient care.
• Assist medical providers during examinations and procedures.
• Handle administrative duties, such as scheduling, answering phones, and maintaining patient charts.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and state/federal regulations.
• Perform COVID-related duties, including temperature screening, questionnaires, vital signs, and testing.
• Support both front and back-office functions as needed.
