Job summary

Saint Francis Medical Partners seeks a Certified Medical Assistant to support physician operations, maintain smooth patient flow, and assist with care, exams, and education under supervision.

The role includes triage, vitals, EKG, phlebotomy where applicable, and ensuring complete documentation of visits. Requires diploma or accredited program completion, certification, and BLS, with potential scheduling support when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assisting Program OR three years of relevant work experience is required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician with the daily operations of the physician's office.
• Maintain efficient patient flow and assist with patient care (exams, procedures, patient education).
• Perform triage, monitor and record vitals of visiting patients.
• Perform EKG and Phlebotomy, as applicable.
• Ensure medical documentation of office visits.
• Coordinate with office and scheduling staff in their absence.

Job Summary

$1000 Sign on Bonus

Qualifications

Education

Required: High school diploma or GED

Required: Completion of an accredited Medical Assisting Program OR three years of relevant work experience in lieu of completion of an accredited Medical Assisting Program

Certification

Required: Medical Assistant Certification required through one of the following; National Healthcare Association (NHA), American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), Registered Medical Assistant by the American Medical Technologist (AMT), National Center for Competency Training (NCCT), the American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA), or Healthcare Professional Registry of the US (HPRUS) (Will allow 90 days to obtain certification)

Required: Current Basic Life Support (BLS)

Experience

Required: Medical Assistant diploma from an accredited school OR three years of relevant work experience in a healthcare setting in lieu of Medical Assistant diploma

Preferred: At least one year of relevant work experience
