Saint Francis Physician Network, LLC is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support physicians in daily office operations, ensuring efficient patient flow and high-quality care. You will assist with exams, procedures, and patient education under physician supervision.

Responsibilities include triage, vitals, documentation, and basic office coordination in a fast-paced setting. A relevant MA program and one of several certifications are required, with a 90-day window to obtain certification.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assisting Program or 3 years of relevant experience in lieu of completion of program.
  • Certification as Medical Assistant through one of the listed organizations (90 days to obtain).
  • Current BLS certification is required.
  • MA diploma or equivalent experience in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

  • Assist physician with daily operations of the office.
  • Maintain efficient patient flow and assist with patient care and education.
  • Perform triage, monitor and record vitals for visiting patients.
  • Perform EKG and Phlebotomy as applicable.
  • Ensure medical documentation of office visits.
  • Maintain friendly, courteous contacts with patients and staff.

Job Summary
$1000 Sign on Bonus

Certified Medical Assistant to assist physician with the daily operations of the physician’s office. Maintains efficient patient flow and assists with patient care, i.e. exams, procedures and patient education under the direction and supervision of a physician. Performs triage, monitors and records vitals of all visiting patients. Ensures medical documentation of office visits. Assist with Office and scheduling coordinator in their absence (if necessary).

  • Performs triage, monitors and records vitals of all visiting patient

  • Ensures that all contacts with patients, the public, physicians and other personnel are carried out in a friendly, courteous, helpful and considerate manner
Qualifications
Education:

Required: High school diploma or GED

Required: Completion of an accredited Medical Assisting Program OR three years of relevant work experience in lieu of completion of an accredited Medical Assisting Program

Required: Medical Assistant Certification required through one of the following; National Healthcare Association (NHA), American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), Registered Medical Assistant by the American Medical Technologist (AMT), National Center for Competency Training (NCCT), the American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA), or Healthcare Professional Registry of the US (HPRUS) (Will allow 90 days to obtain certification)

Required: Current Basic Life Support (BLS)

Required: Medical Assistant diploma from an accredited school OR three years of relevant work experience in a healthcare setting in lieu of Medical Assistant diploma

Preferred: At least one year of relevant work experience
