Job summary

Premise Health is seeking a Full-Time Medical Assistant to support client employees and dependents at our Colorado Springs Health Center. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm, with a comprehensive benefits package.

You will interview patients, record vitals, maintain health records, prepare rooms, administer injections, perform labs and EKGs, and assist at the front desk while handling supply orders. Certifications in MA/CMA and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• National certification in Medical Assisting from a Premise Health approved organization OR Certificate/Diploma and Transcripts from an accredited Medical Assistant program with hands on externship completed
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required
• State Lab Certificate (NV only)
• CMA certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants, the National Center of Competency Testing, the National Certification Medical Association, American Medical Technologists, or any other recognized certifying body approved by the Board of Medical Examiners (South Carolina only)

• Prepares treatment rooms, cleans and sterilizes instruments
• Medication administration including injections, performs laboratory tests, operates EKGs and other diagnostic equipment as permitted by state regulations
• Performs administrative tasks, assists at the front desk, schedules appointments, makes follow-up calls, and orders medical supplies
• Performs other duties as assigned

As a Full Time Medical Assistant (MA), you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Colorado Springs, CO. The scheduled hours are Monday- Friday 7:30am-4:00pm.

Premise provides its reasonable and genuinely expected range of compensation for this job of $20.80 - $26.00 per hour. A number of factors will influence the rate offered for this position, including your experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other factors.

For individuals living in Washington or Colorado: Premise offers the following paid time off benefits. Employees will earn 0.0692 hours of paid time off per actual hours worked or based on standard schedule, per pay period, and will receive 10 paid holidays or an equivalent bank of hours aligned to schedule throughout the calendar year. Paid sick leave is satisfied by the paid time off accrual, detailed above.
