Premise offers a wide range of dynamic, purpose-driven career opportunities. We are currently looking for a Full-time Certified Medical Assistant to join our Employer Health Clinic in Boston, MA.

About The Schedule

• Monday through Friday 8am-4:30pm
• No weekend work, supporting work-life balance
• 10 paid holidays per year and generous PTO

What We Are Looking For

We seek someone with previous medical office experience, EMR familiarity, strong phlebotomy skills, a friendly personality, and a commitment to top-quality customer service.

Essential Functions

• Interview patients, measure vital signs, and record information
• Prepare treatment rooms and patients for examinations
• Clean and sterilize instruments
• Manage inventory and order supplies
• Operate EKG and other diagnostic equipment
• Administer injections, perform lab tests
• Schedule appointments and follow-up calls
• Handle administrative tasks and front desk assistance
• Maintain clinic and patient records electronically
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• National Medical Assisting certification from an approved organization or completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program with externship
• CPR (BLS) certification with hands-on evaluation, meeting AHA standards
• State Lab Certificate (NV only)
• CMA certification from recognized certifying bodies (South Carolina only)
• Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred

Preferred Experience

• Knowledge of internet, spreadsheet, and word processing software
• Strong phlebotomy skills
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records
