Job summary

Blue Ridge Health in Sylva, NC is hiring a Medical Assistant/LPN to join our interdisciplinary healthcare team. You will assist with direct patient care, obtain vitals, perform basic procedures, and help maintain a positive clinical environment.

Entry-level pay starts at $20.50 per hour with opportunities for salary and career advancement. A $1000 sign-on bonus is available after 90 days of employment, and we offer comprehensive benefits and certification support.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology and documentation is preferred.
• HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality knowledge is required.
• Bi-Lingual abilities are a plus and compensated.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with delivering quality patient care.
• Obtain and record vital signs (BP, pulse, temp).
• Perform basic procedures (blood draws, EKGs) and collect specimens.
• Answer phones and relay information to providers.
• Adhere to HIPAA and maintain patient confidentiality.
