Blue Ridge Health is seeking a Medical Assistant or LPN to join our Arden, NC clinic. We provide training and opportunities for salary and career advancement. Starting pay is $20.50 per hour with a $1,000 sign-on bonus after 90 days of employment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology and documentation is preferred.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• MA Certification or RMAs preferred; certification must be obtained within 18 months if not already.
• Licensed Practical Nurse licensure in NC preferred; license renewal may be paid by employer.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with delivering patient care in a fast-paced clinic.
• Obtain and record vital signs (BP, pulse, temp, etc.).
• Perform basic procedures such as blood draws and EKGs.
• Collect and prepare laboratory specimens.
• Answer phones and relay information to providers.
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and protect patient confidentiality.
• Contribute to a positive, cooperative interdisciplinary team.
