Job summary

Blue Ridge Health in Arden, NC is seeking a Medical Assistant/LPN to join our team. We offer on-the-job training, a competitive benefits plan including Medical, Dental and Vision, and a $1000 sign-on bonus after 90 days.

Responsibilities include patient care support, vital signs, blood draws, EKGs, lab specimen collection and EHR documentation in a fast-paced environment. LPN licensure preferred and we provide certification assistance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• MA certification or Registered Medical Assistant preferred; must obtain within 18 months of hire.
• LPN NC licensure preferred; company will pay license renewal.
• Bi-Lingual preferred; extra pay for language skills.

Responsibilities

• Work in a fast-paced medical office setting.
• Assist providers with delivering quality patient care.
• Record vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, etc.).
• Perform basic procedures such as blood draws and EKGs.
• Collect laboratory specimens.
• Record patient information in electronic health records (EHR).
• Answer phones and relay information to providers.
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.
• Contribute to a positive and cooperative team environment.
