Nextaff is urgently hiring a Medical Assistant to support a busy primary care practice in Lakewood Ranch, FL. You’ll be hands-on with patient care — rooming patients, taking vitals, assisting providers, managing records, and keeping the office running smoothly.

This contract-to-hire, full-time role offers weekly pay, health insurance eligibility from Day 1, and a competitive hourly wage of $20–$23 based on experience. Fridays off and weekends are not required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year Medical Assistant experience in a Primary/Family Care setting.
• Experience with EHR systems (eClinicalWorks a plus).
• CPR/BLS certification (Red Cross or AHA).
• High school diploma or equivalent & able to pass background/drug screening.

Medical Assistant – Lakewood Ranch, FL

Nextaff is urgently hiring an experienced Medical Assistant to support a busy primary care practice in Lakewood Ranch, FL. In this vital role, you’ll be hands-on with patient care — rooming patients, taking vitals, assisting providers, managing records, and keeping the office running smoothly. This is a contract-to-hire, full time position with a Monday-Thursday 7:15 AM-5:30 PM schedule (no nights or weekends and Fridays off)!

What's In It For You:

• $20–$23/hour, based on experience
• Full-time, Monday–Thursday, 7:15 AM–5:30 PM
• Weekly pay – every Friday while on assignment and health insurance eligibility with Nextaff starting Day 1

What You’ll Bring:

• Must have at least 1 year of recent Medical Assistant experience in a Primary or Family Care setting
