Job summary

Nextaff is urgently hiring Medical Assistants to support a busy primary care practice in North Port, FL. In this contract-to-hire role, you’ll be hands-on with patient care — rooming patients, taking vitals, assisting providers, and keeping the office running smoothly.

This full-time position offers a Monday–Friday schedule, no nights or weekends, weekly pay, and benefits eligibility from Day 1, with health, dental, vision, PTO, holidays, and 401(k) options.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience in a primary or family care setting.
• Experience with EHR systems (eClinicalWorks a plus).
• Friendly, outgoing personality and a team player.
• High school diploma or equivalent; background and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

Medical Assistant – North Port, FL Nextaff is urgently hiring experienced Medical Assistants to support a busy primary care practice in North Port, FL. In this vital role, you’ll be hands‑on with patient care — rooming patients, taking vitals, assisting providers, managing records, and keeping the office running smoothly. This is a contract‑to‑hire, full time position with a Monday‑Friday schedule (no nights or weekends)!

What's In It For You:

• $20–$23/hour, based on experience
• Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM
• Weekly pay – every Friday while on assignment and health insurance eligibility with Nextaff starting Day 1
