Job summary

Nextaff is hiring a skilled phlebotomist with medical assisting abilities for a busy Bradenton, FL practice. You will perform blood draws, greet and room patients, and update medical histories in the EMR.

This full-time contract-to-hire role offers a strong benefits package and potential for permanent placement. Expect a Monday-Friday schedule from 7:15 AM to 3:45 PM, with weekly pay and Day One benefits eligibility.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of recent experience as a Phlebotomist or medical Assistant with strong phlebotomy skills.
• Experience documenting in EMR applications.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and medical office procedures.
• An outgoing personality, friendly smile and desire to be a part of a busy, fast-moving team.
• HS diploma (or equivalent), background and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and basic phlebotomy duties.
• Greet and room patients and take medical histories.
• Document updates in the EMR.
• Support general medical assisting tasks as needed.

Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant Nextaff is hiring an experienced phlebotomist with medical assisting skills to join our client's team in Bradenton, FL. This is a busy primary care office, located in the heart of Bradenton, and you will be responsible for performing blood draws and also general medical assisting duties such as greeting & rooming patients and updating medical histories in the EMR. This is a full time, contract-to-hire position with a Monday-Friday 7:15 AM-3:45 PM schedule and offers the opportunity to earn a permanent position with an outstanding benefits package that includes health/dental/vision insurance, PTO, paid holidays, matching 401(k), etc.
