Medical Assistant – Internal Medicine & Pediatrics (Victor, NY)

We are a private practice in Victor, NY with a welcoming, team-oriented environment seeking a Medical Assistant to join our busy Internal Medicine and Pediatrics office. Our providers work closely together to deliver compassionate, high-quality care to patients of all ages.

• Full-time: 36–40 hours per week
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, daytime hours only – no weekends or holidays
• Setting: Private medical office
• Compensation: Competitive pay ($18.50–$21.50/hour, based on experience)

What You’ll Do

• Rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, and documenting medical histories
• Assisting providers with exams and procedures following established protocols
• Performing or preparing routine tests, specimens, and lab work as ordered
• Maintaining clean, well-stocked exam rooms and clinical supplies
• Coordinating patient care, including referrals, imaging, and prior authorizations
• Managing patient communication via phone or EMR with professionalism and empathy
• Ensuring accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Supporting infection control and safety standards across all activities
