Job summary

Ross Education Holdings, Inc. Lafayette – Campus is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant Instructor to teach morning and evening classes.

The role involves conducting clinical and administrative sessions for up to 24 students, following Ross curriculum, with 4.5-hour sessions several days a week from morning to evening. Applicants should have 3+ years in medical assisting and be able to obtain national MA certification.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ experience in the medical assisting field and formal training from an accredited institution.
  • Must be able to obtain a national certification as medical assistant.
  • Individuals with less formal education must have a minimum of 5+ years’ experience in the medical field and a national certification.

Responsibilities

  • Teach in the Medical Assisting classroom with a maximum of 24 students, covering clinical and administrative skills.
  • Class sessions are 4.5 hours in either day or evening sessions.
  • Learning the material and delivering lectures and demonstrations, working from Ross lesson plans and curriculum.
  • This is a part-time position with 9–18 hours per week.
