Ross Education Holdings, Inc. in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant Instructor for morning and evening classes.

The role teaches Medical Assisting to a class of up to 24 students across 4.5-hour sessions, following Ross lesson plans on campus. Requirements include 3+ years in medical assisting with formal training from an accredited program and national certification; applicants without formal education must have 5+ years of medical experience and certification.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ experience in the medical assisting field and formal training from an accredited institution.
  • Must be able to obtain a national certification as medical assistant.
  • Individuals without a formal education, must have a minimum of 5+ years’ experience working in the medical field and a national certification.

Responsibilities

  • Teach in the Medical Assisting classroom with a maximum of 24 students.
  • Class sessions are 4.5 hours in either day or evening sessions.
  • Learn the material and deliver lectures from Ross lesson plans and curriculum.
  • This is a part-time position, typically 9-18 hours per week.
