Job summary

Ross Education Holdings, Inc. Evansville campus invites experienced Medical Assistants to become part-time instructors, delivering morning and evening classes while following Ross curricula and standards.

You will review lesson plans, prepare lessons, grade assignments, and maintain student records. Responsibilities include promoting retention and supporting externships as applicable; prior education credentials or work experience are required to meet state standards.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from a program recognized in the content area or program field by the U.S. Secretary of Education or CHEA with teaching in the content area.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of occupational experience in the content area in which they teach; and
  • Hold or obtain within 90 days of start date a nationally recognized certification (RMA/AMT, CMA/AAMA, CCMA/CMAA, NCMA/NCCT) or current license as required by law.

Responsibilities

  • Instruct students using the standardized Ross curriculum and review lesson plans.
  • Prepare for class instruction and grade/record assignments electronically.
  • Actively promote student retention and support externship activities as applicable.
  • Perform related duties as required and adhere to Ross policies.

MEDICAL ASSISTANT - INSTRUCTOR - PART TIME - MORNINGS AND EVENINGSRoss Education Holdings, Inc.Evansville - Campus based positionPart Time Instructors teach 9-32 hours/week and we have morning and evenings classes available.We are looking for Experienced MA's to become fully trained instructors to teach scheduled year round and PRN classes. Morning classes are M-F 8:30-1 and Evening classes are M-TH 5:30-10. Any exception will be reviewed on an individual basis and must be approved by the SVP of Operations.Graduation from a program recognized in the content area or program field by the U.S. Secretary of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) in the program field or content area in which they teach. Additionally, the faculty member possesses a minimum of three (3) years (within the past seven years) of occupational (i.e., practical) experience in the content area in which they teach; and holds or can obtain within 90 days of start date of employmenta nationally recognized certification from the following list: RMA from AMT; CMA from AAMA; CCMA and/or CMAA (from NHA)(depending on course taught); NCMA from NCCT; and a current license, certification or other credential as required by local, state and/or federal laws to work in the fieldORA minimum of five (5) years of job-related experience, as described above, for those instructors who are not graduates from an accredited program in the field in which they teach.
