Job summary

Ross Education Holdings, Inc. Evansville campus seeks an experienced Medical Assistant instructor for part-time roles teaching 9-32 hours weekly. Morning classes are 8:30–1 and evenings 5:30–10, with a full-time opening also available.

The instructor will deliver the standardized Ross curriculum, review lesson plans, and grade/record assignments, while promoting student retention and supporting externships as applicable.

Qualifications

Graduation from an approved medical program and 3+ years of hands-on medical experience.
Hold or obtain within 90 days a national certification from AMT/AAMA/NHA/NCCT as applicable.
Ability to teach Ross curriculum and manage class activities.

Responsibilities

Instruct students using the Ross curriculum and grade assignments.
Review lesson plans and prepare for class instruction.
Actively promote student retention and support externship activities as applicable.
Maintain student records and demonstrate professional conduct.

Evansville - Campus based position

Part Time Instructors teach 9-32 hours/week and we have morning and evenings classes available.

We are looking for Experienced MA's to become fully trained instructors to teach scheduled year round and PRN classes. Morning classes are M-F 8:30-1 and Evening classes are M-TH 5:30-10. We also have a full time opening - so let us know your interest/availability.

Full Time InstructorRequirements

Graduation from a program recognized in the content area or program field by the U.S. Secretary of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) in the program field or content area in which they teach. Additionally, the faculty member possesses a minimum of three (3) years (within the past seven years) of occupational (i.e., practical) experience in the content area in which they teach; and holds or can obtain within 90 days of start date of employment a nationally recognized certification from the following list: RMA from AMT; CMA from AAMA; CCMA and/or CMAA (from NHA)(depending on course taught); NCMA from NCCT; and a current license, certification or other credential as required by local, state and/or federal laws to work in the field

A minimum of five (5) years of job-related experience, as described above, for those instructors who are not graduates from an accredited program in the field in which they teach. Additionally, they must hold a current license, certification or other credential as required by local, state and/or federal laws to work in the field.

Instructors must have:

Ability to communicate effectively in classroom and individual settings

Knowledge of materials (subjects) that will be taught to students and ability to use and communicate Ross curriculum

Ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced work environment

Sufficient ability to move around the building and classroom to satisfy student needs and/or facilitate student participation.
