Indiana University Health is seeking Medical Assistants to support clinicians in a fast-paced Indianapolis clinic. The role involves rooming patients, handling patient messages, paperwork, and prior authorizations while performing essential clinical and administrative duties.

Formación

• BLS certification required; other advanced life support may be required per unit.
• High school diploma or equivalent; graduation from a Medical Assistant program.
• Current CMA/RMA/CCMA/NCMA/CMAC certification.
• Knowledge of OSHA, CLIA, and ADA.
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding.
• TB validation preferred within 6 months of hire.
• Knowledge of Meaningful Use and Standard Work Programs within 6 months of hire.
• Knowledge of standard laboratory procedures and insurance plans.
• Ability to perform accurate data entry and basic math.
