Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC is seeking a Medical Assistant II to provide advanced clinical support, manage patient flow and scheduling, and ensure patient satisfaction. You will serve as a role model with higher technical expertise and assist in resolving operational issues while coordinating patient care when clinicians are unavailable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required, plus 3+ years in a clinical setting.
• At least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience; degree may substitute.
• Preferred BLS and ACLS certifications where specialty requires.

Responsibilities

• Supervise patient flow, access, and clinician scheduling to optimize care delivery.
• Handle patient concerns, third-party requests, and documentation needs.
• Sort and review communications, maintain electronic messages, and prioritize urgent cases.
• Participate in practice improvement activities, train new staff, and support EMR upgrades.
• May serve as a float across departments to learn practices of multiple areas.
