Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Medical Assistant to support healthcare providers and enhance patient experiences at our onsite locations. You will welcome patients, collect vital signs, prepare exam rooms, and document medical histories with accuracy.

The role requires attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work closely with physicians and nursing staff across departments. Onsite location with typical 40-hour weeks and day shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate's Degree in Medical Assisting is preferred.
• BLS Certification and CMA/National Certification are preferred but not always required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome, interview, and assist patients while collecting vital signs and health information.
• Prepare patients, exam rooms, equipment, and supplies for visits.
• Accurately document patient information, medical histories, and test results.
• Support laboratory specimen collection and preparation.
• Assist with office duties, patient communication, and coordination with other departments.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.
• Collaborate with the care team to provide excellent patient service.
