Catalyst Physician Group is seeking a Medical Assistant II to join our patient-centered team in North Texas. This mid-level clinical role supports rooming patients, vitals, and a broad range of procedures while ensuring accurate EMR documentation and a superior patient experience.

The ideal candidate has an accredited Medical Assistant program, CMA/RMA/CCMA, BLS, and at least 1 year in healthcare, plus proficiency in phlebotomy, vaccines knowledge, and coordinating care with providers.

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Active CMA/RMA/CCMA or equivalent certification.
• Current BLS certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a healthcare setting.
• Proficiency in additional skills such as phlebotomy, Quality Metrics/VBC, and/or precepting.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, adhere to rooming guidelines, document vitals and encounters in the EMR.
• Utilizes standard and specialized equipment (spirometry, nebulizers, audiometry) and administers vaccines.
• Document patient information accurately in the EMR; follow infection control and safety protocols.
• Support care coordination including referrals and prior authorizations; assist other departments as needed.
• Serve as preceptor for onboarding and training of new MAs and mentor staff.
