Job summary

Catalyst Physician Group is seeking a Medical Assistant II in North Texas to support clinical operations and patient care across multiple locations. The role involves rooming patients, performing routine procedures, documenting in the EMR, and assisting providers with vaccines and care coordination.

The ideal candidate has an accredited MA program, MA certification (CMA/RMA/CCMA), and at least 1 year of healthcare experience; Athena EMR experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited medical Assistant program.
• Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA, or equivalent).
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification preferred or within 60 days of hire.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a healthcare setting is required.
• Documented proficiency in additional skills i.e. Phlebotomy, Quality Metrics/VBC, and/or Precepting.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, record vitals, and document in EMR.
• Utilize standard equipment (spirometry, nebulizers, audiometry).
• Administer pediatric vaccines per protocol.
• Support care coordination and referrals.
