The role includes rooming patients, EMR documentation, vaccines, and supporting value-based care initiatives, with opportunities to mentor staff and participate in clinical projects. Candidates should have accredited MA program, CMA/RMA/CCMA or equivalent, BLS, and at least 1 year of healthcare experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA, or equivalent).
• Current BLS certification or within 60 days of hire.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a healthcare setting.
• Proficiency in additional skills such as phlebotomy, quality metrics/VBC, or precepting.

Responsibilities

• Rooming patients, vitals, and documenting in EMR.
• Uses standard equipment like spirometry, nebulizers, audiometry.
• Administers pediatric vaccines and documents procedures.
• Adheres to infection control, HIPAA, and safety protocols.
• Supports providers and mentors staff across departments.
