Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant II to assist in examinations and treatments, track patient information, document medical records, and educate patients and caregivers. The role includes support for procedures, testing, and prior authorizations in a full-time capacity.

Minimum 1–3 years clinical experience is preferred. Requires MA-related education/certification options and CPR.

Qualifications

• EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED.
• MA-Non-Credentialed II: MA eligibility with EMT/Par­amedic options; CPR certification.
• MA-Credentialed II: CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, NRCMA, CMAC certifications.

Responsabilités

• Assist with exams, procedures, testing, and specimen collection.
• Transcribe exam information, diagnosis and plan into medical record.
• Communicate test results and provider instructions to patients.
• Coordinate care and act as liaison between patients and providers.
• Quality control with lab logs and practice audits.
• Support with prior authorizations and documentation tasks.
• Manage patient information and education for patients and caregivers.
