Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Medical Assistant to support healthcare providers and enhance the patient experience at our Waltham location. You will welcome patients, collect vital signs, document histories, and prepare exam rooms and equipment to ensure efficient visits.

In this role you will work closely with physicians and nursing staff, handle office duties, assist with specimen collection, and maintain a clean, safe clinical environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Associate's Degree in Medical Assisting preferred.
• No substitution of experience for degree.
• BLS Certification - Data Conversion - Various Issuers preferred.
• National CMA Certification - Data Conversion - Various Issuers preferred.
• 1-2 years direct MA or medical field experience required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and interview patients; collect vital signs.
• Prepare patients, exam rooms, equipment, and supplies for visits.
• Document medical histories and test results.
• Support specimen collection and lab preparation.
• Assist with office duties and interdepartmental coordination.
• Maintain a clean, safe clinical environment.
• Collaborate with care team to deliver patient service.
