Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED.
• Experience: 1 year of clinical practice experience.
• Certification: BLS and CMA on start.

Responsibilities

• Performs general patient care including checking schedules and organizing patient flow; recording patient blood pressure, height, and weight; assisting patients and providers during examinations.
• Performs pre-visiting planning as indicated by the physician for vulnerable populations.
• Maintains medical records, orders and requisitions; ensures chart is ready for patient encounters.
• Adheres to sterile techniques and universal precautions; assists with EKG, phlebotomy and related testing as required.
• Participates in clinic huddles and quality improvement initiatives; may perform additional duties as assigned.
